AMBRELLO

A custom website for Ambrello, a Gdańsk-based restaurant, translating physical space into digital identity. Built in Framer with custom JavaScript components, the site channels the restaurant's vibrant interior murals into an interactive web language. Design research centered on extracting core identity elements. Bright, energetic palettes, geometric patterns, and mosaic textures, reinterpreted as dynamic web components. Custom code enables fluid animations and interactive elements that mirror the tactile, handcrafted quality of the physical murals while maintaining web performance. The approach questions how hospitality brands can maintain sensory richness online, treating the website not as a mere information delivery platform but as a digital extension of the dining atmosphere. Each interaction aims to evoke the same warmth and energy guests encounter in the physical space.
